Task 2.1. Insights from metagenomics
Objective: Obtaining insight into the biogeography and ecological role of phages of phytopathogenic bacteria in the agricultural context and their contribution to plant disease dynamics.

Task 2.2. Phage-host interaction
Objective: Improving our understanding and prediction of the host range and specificity of phages infecting phytopathogenic bacteria.

Task 2.3. Mechanisms of bacterial resistance to phages
Objective: Assessing phage-related traits and resistance mechanisms in plant bacterial genomes to develop predictive tools for phage–bacterium coevolution.
